# ATEM ISO to FCPXML

> Free, MIT-licensed Mac app (and one-file Python converter) that turns a native Blackmagic ATEM ISO recording into a Final Cut Pro multicam project with the live switch and WAV audio.

The native SwiftUI app is a source-build preview requiring macOS 13+. See the README for build instructions; the published 1.0.0 workflow still has a dialog bug.

## Important Limits

Real imports were verified with ATEM Mini Pro ISO, 1080p60, and Final Cut Pro 12.4. Other models and frame rates need real-media validation. Matching WAVs replace camera audio when available; a camera without a WAV falls back to its MP4 audio. Start-time mismatches are warned about, not corrected. Keys use program footage when available, otherwise the first camera stands in with a marker. XML import creates a named event rather than targeting the selected event. No transcoding, network calls, or AI at runtime. Never publish personal recordings, logs, or generated XML in bug reports.
